Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront/South

Our experience was definitely a positive one. Meredith at the front desk was very helpful in getting us checked-in upon arrival. She made us aware of all the amenities that hotel has to offer. She was very friendly and provided service with a smile. We will definitely come again.

Oceanfront very clean room. Close to everything u need plus a nice breakfast counter w Starbucks Coffee in lobby area. Iris and staff were very accommodating and checked on us to make sure we had everything we need. I did have to park in the garage 1 night of our 3 night stay ( Only 1/4 of a block from front door, maybe 150 yards at most), but parked right out front most of the stay.. My only suggestion is just add parking cost into total price so people can't complain about paying for parking

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The room was very big, we had ocean front on the 3rd floor. It had a separate living room which was nice with our kids. Mini fridge and microwave. It was clean, some worn spots but overall felt comfortable. Great location, could walk to resturants, bars, ice cream etc... would definitely stay again.

My family and I stay here every time we visit Virginia Beach. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and courteous. If we’ve ever needed anything, we always get prompt service. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the location is perfect. I highly recommend booking your next stay at the Courtyard Marriott.

Stayed here this time down and can’t complain. Had an issue with our door but they took care of it quickly. The room I had was great, granted it was a suite which was basically like a one bedroom apartment overlooking the water. Centrally located around every place I like was also super convenient.

Superbly welcoming front desk, very accommodating. They will provide suggestions on surrounding area, good food spots and even gave a small treat bag for Christmas. Clean, cozy and great views of the beach

Right in the heart of everything on the coast. Location is perfect for many shops, restaurants and bars. Rooms are clean and spacious. Special shout to Rose for her wonderful hospitality! She was able to fully accommodate us and we were even able to get a room upgrade. Will certainly be back here!

As a gold-elite member, I recently returned for an impromptu stay at the Courtyard in Virginia Beach, and once again, the experience exceeded my expectations—this time with all four of my children in tow, including my toddler daughter. Gia was incredibly helpful and patient in securing a room for us, and I’m so grateful for how she made me feel like a truly valued guest from the start. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by familiar faces—Sabrina and Rose—who had already left a lasting impression during my last visit. Seeing them again immediately brought a smile to my face! During our stay, Sabrina was especially sweet and attentive to my little one. She even met us out on the boardwalk just to deliver a gold elite welcome gift—a backpack filled with beach toys that couldn’t have been more perfect for my toddler. That thoughtful gesture truly warmed my heart. I even gave her a hug because going the extra mile like that speaks volumes. While the pool on-site was under renovation, the staff offered us access to pools at two nearby Marriott properties, and we had no issues using them. My kids had a fabulous time, which made the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. The exceptional service I’ve consistently received from the staff here—Gia, Sabrina, and Rose—makes Courtyard Virginia Beach my favorite place to stay. I’ll definitely be back soon!
